Results of studies
The basis for the Oraflogo® gel is the recipe from the old pharmacy in the beginning of the 20th century. The new recipe is altered in accordance with the latest findings in this field.
Oraflogo® gel contains mixtures of oligo elements and plant derivatives, of which some have been known for ages and some originate only from folk tradition. The features of these mixtures became a point of interest of various experimental studies only within the last decades.
THE PRELIMINARY REASARCHES
In order to prove the efficiency of components of the Oraflogo® gel for healing wounds in the soft tissue of the oral cavity was made clinical researches on the patients with parodontosis and oral ulceration, which occurred as a result of changes in lesions or canker sores, and on the patients after they had their teeth removed. For wound healing they have been using various preparations for one week, including placebo, after which they evaluated the research with regard to specific parameters, such as bleeding, sensitivity to pain, and other clinical aspects.
The use of Oraflogo ingredients for healing wounds in the soft tissue of the oral cavity has proven to be effective as early as the third day.
Components of Oraflogo gel of have proven to be an effective agent also in alleviating pain and stopping bleeding after a tooth surgery, as quickly as after three to four days..
So, the results have shown that various ingredients of Oraflogo® gel have an analgesic, anti-inflammatory effect on soft tissues, and it also stops bleeding and helps in scarring. Additionally, it is particularly successful in eliminating pain in cases of oral ulceration and after tooth removal, and reduces bleeding resulting from gum inflammation and after surgeries in the oral area.
EVALUATION OF THE EFFECT OF THE COMBINATION OF HYALURONIC ACID, HERBAL EXTRACTS AND Q10 ON THE SOFT TISSUES IN THE ORAL CAVITY
The study included 64 Stomatoestetika Kulis patients who had ulcerations, inflammation of the periodontal tissues, or were recovering from surgery in the oral cavity.
Objective of study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Oraflogo® gel in healing soft tissues in the oral cavity in comparison to competing products.
The survey results show significantly greater patient satisfaction with the Oraflogo® gel (hyaluronic acid, Q10 and herbal extracts) when applied to heal wounds in the oral cavity, alleviate pain,
reduce bleeding and oedema, compared with previous products the patients had been using to alleviate their problems.
47 patients (73.5%) were very satisfied with the effects of the gel,15 patients (23.5%) were satisfied, and 2 patients were dissatisfied, which accounts for 3% of all patients who participated in the survey.
The vast majority (97%) was therefore very satisfied or satisfied with the product.
In postoperative conditions, 92% of patients were satisfied or very satisfied with the effect of the Oraflogo® gel, while only 2 patients were dissatisfied .
In terms of periodontal disease and ulcerations, 100% of patients were satisfied or very satisfied
with the effects of the Oraflogo® gel.
The gel tested in the study favourably affected the healing of postoperative wounds, periodontal tissue inflammation and the healing of oral ulceration. 97% of the patients felt that Oraflogo® gel is better than previous products they have used.

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS OF A TOPIC GEL WITH HYALURONIC ACID AND THE OTHER NATURAL EXTRACT ON THE HEALING OF GUMS AND ORAL MUCOSA
The aim of these study was to elucidate the therapeutic efficacy of hyaluronic acid and the other natural herbal extracts (Aloe barbadensis, Macadamia alternifolia, Centella asiatica, Cupressus sempervirens, Horse chestnut) and Coenzyme Q10 on the healing of oral soft tissues.
An attempt has been made from dr Morsche (Praxis für Mund - Kiefer – Gesichtschirurgie, München) to outline the naturel ingredients of Oraflogo gel to evaluate their effect in oral pathology. Separately have been recognized as useful for oral medicine, particularly good results shows common combinations of all natural ingredients in the form of a topical gel on reducing postsurgical bleeding, gingival bleeding and periodontal diseases.
The study “Therapeutic effects of a topic gel with hyaluronic acid and the other natural extracts on the healing of gums and oral mucosa” is published in dental magazines in Germany and Switzerland

PILOT STUDY COMPARING TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE DENTAL PASTE AND ORAFLOGO GEL ON ORAL ULCERATIVE LESIONS
The etiology of oral ulcerative lesions is unclear, which means there are various approaches to treatment. The treatment of choice for local application is triamcinolone acetonide dental paste in orabase (synthetic corticosteroid). Given the undesirable side effects arising from this therapy, researchers are trying to find an effective natural treatment. The aim of this study is to determine the local effectiveness of natural active ingredients within a base of hyaluronic acid with added natural plant extracts (under the protected name “Oraflogo gel”) and to compare it with the effectiveness of the proven treatment triamcinolone acetonide in treating minor ulcers.
The study involved 22 patients with oral ulcers, half of whom were randomly selected to use triamcinolone acetonide to treat the problem, while the other half applied Oraflogo gel. The research monitored two parameters: pain reduction and ulcer size. Both treatments were applied locally in the same way.
A comparison of the reduction in pain and ulcer size revealed that the effectiveness of treating minor ulcers with medically tested triamcinolone acetonide on the one hand, and hyaluronic acid with plant extracts on the other, is statistically significantly comparable both in terms of reducing the size of the ulcer itself as well as the associated pain.
Pilot study comparing triamcinolone acetonide dental paste and Oraflogo gel on oral ulcerative lesions, dr. mag. sci. Ecijo Sever, dr. dent. med., Dental Clinic, Center for dental prosthetics , University Medical Centre Lubljana, was published in Dental Tribune, Sovenian Edition, ISSNN 2232-3511; 2018; 2/9; 16-18 and 3/9; 15-16.
